Big Changes
Well then, this is my first proper journal entry in this site and we're starting it off with a big one. I'm in for a very hectic month I'll tell you that. To start off, my birthday is this month! I'm turning 21 in a couple weeks and my parents are taking me and girlfriend out to a bar to get my first drinks. I'm really excited.
My girlfriend is also taking me to an emo night/rave in DC the night before! She's taken me to an emo night before, which is exactly what it sounds like. loud emo music, and it goes till about 1am. She said this one is also part rave though which I'm super excited for.
The funny thing is, because it's the night before my birthday, I turn 21 two hours after we get there so I'm really interested to see if they'll give me the bracelet that lets me drink, or if I'm not going to be allowed to. I'm not planning on drinking anyways, my budget cant afford to, but I think their reaction will be really funny when the security guards see my ID.
One last thing to add on, my family is moving in a couple months. It's not in april, but we're sorting through everything to prepare for the move. My parents are renting the place to me and a bunch of other people, like my partners and my sibling, so we're keeping some of the furniture, but a lot of it is going. It's a lot of work, but I'm really excited! I'm actually going to have this place as my own in a couple months! Rent is so expensive that currently, this is my only chance at renting a decently sized house. Wooooo cost of living :/
